ERVIN WIBLE III
I learned a lot from the man that gave me my first job, Joe Kuglar, at Brandywine Meadows Camp Ground. I worked for their family in Honeybrook, PA. for many years. Mowing, driving a tractor, picking up trash, and oh yes, my favorite, honey pumping. I worked in the store, the pizza shop, and Put Put golf. After that I was working for Herr’s Potato chips running the warehouse and training men on routes also helping them in Virginia Beach. I did get most of my sales experience there from Joe Broomall and my father Ervin Wible JR. My Grandfather Ervin Wible SR. sold bread in Philadelphia and my Grandfather Larry Bretchnieder was an ice man then a milk man so sales is in my blood you could say. Then I left there and went to Archway Cookies for a few years, where I worked for Dick Wendt and Tom Freeman. These guys helped me a lot in the sales field, I loved working there. I then had an opportunity to buy a Pepperidge Farms Cookie Route in Northern Virginia. I had to have my father in-law sign the loan for me to get this Shorty and Ann Cooper . I doubled my money on that route and bought the Fredericksburg Virginia area that I have today.
After getting cancer in 2011, I was no longer able to run routes and I had to pay people to run my company. So I was looking around for other things to do and my old friend Joe Broomall had put us in touch with the Kauffman family they make sheds and have been doing it for thirty two years .Mr. Jake Kauffman came down met with me and my son. He walked down through the field with my son came back said we have a deal you want to sell sheds I said yes sir. Mr. Kauffman said, you all come up to the farm and meet my son Joseph, he will be running the company. He called my pop and said you teach your boy how to do it and we will help. They did that! I will not say all they have done for my son and I, but it was a lot, they put a lot of trust and faith in us. Mr. Kauffman said one thing that stuck to me is that you’re a Christian man and an honest man, and so long as you treat people like that you will do fine! I cannot say thank you enough to them the Kauffman’s are GREAT GOD LOVING PEOPLE!
